On October 27th, through coordination with the Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Youth Federation organized the Golden Globe Awards Ceremony and the Vietnam Women’s Science and Technology Award 2023 with support from Tan Hiep Phat Company. This is the 12th consecutive year that Tan Hiep Phat has sponsored the awards.
The Golden Globe Awards honor outstanding young science and technology talents under the age of 35 who are studying, researching and working domestically and abroad. Over the past 20 years, the award has attracted thousands of young domestic talents and young Vietnamese scientists studying, researching and working abroad to participate. To date, 204 outstanding individuals have received the awards, and developed into high caliber human resources, contributing significantly to the advancement of science and technology as well as the socio-economic development of the country.
In 2023, from 69 applicants in 5 fields considered, the Award Council selected 10 best talented young faces to award the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. In which, there are 3 individuals in the field of Information Technology, Digital Transformation and Automation; 3 individuals in Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology; 2 individuals in Environmental Technology and 2 individuals in New Materials Technology.
The Vice President suggested that young scientists and talented students should consider the award received on this occasion as a national recognition for important efforts; so that they can gain more motivation and positive energy for continuous innovation to create more valuable scientific works and products to serve the people, contributing positively to the development of the country.
Mr. David Riddle – Representative of Tan Hiep Phat spoke at the ceremony: “The Golden Globe Award has honored a generation of young Vietnamese talents and spread their message of desire to rise, create and master knowledge over the years. Young Vietnamese talents connect with us through factory visits, to learn about production technology and management processes, and to discuss trends and new technology applications in the world. This always helps us to support each other, giving us more motivation to research, innovate, constantly develop, and create values in science and technology to contribute and to be of service to society.”
