A Journey of Endurance Addressing Urgent Challenges
In his opening address, Mr. Phùng Công Sưởng emphasized the award’s significance in a rapidly evolving Vietnam. “For over three decades, the Vietnam Youth Talent Support Fund has remained steadfast in its mission to nurture the potential, intellect, and passion of our young generation,” he said. “As Vietnam strides into a new era, the ‘Enduring Passion’ Award reaffirms the pivotal role of youth in realizing our nation’s strategic goals and aspirations.”
Launched over three months ago, the award attracted 17 nominations across four categories—Social Activities, Culture and Arts, Sports, and Business/Entrepreneurship—along with 13 science and technology projects from recipients of the prestigious Golden Globe Award. After a rigorous evaluation process, the selection council chose six standout projects in the main categories and five exceptional scientific endeavors for recognition.
According to Mr. Phùng Công Sưởng, the honorees represent more than just personal triumphs. “Their work tackles pressing societal issues—preserving cultural heritage, elevating Vietnam’s arts and sports on the global stage, supporting education for underprivileged children, and applying technology and AI in education, healthcare, and environmental protection,” he noted. From the inspiring “Crystal Heart Classroom” to the achievements of “Vietnam’s Golden Girl of Athletics” Nguyễn Thị Oanh and “Vietnam’s No. 1 Golfer” Nguyễn Anh Minh, these stories resonate deeply, inspiring positive change across society.
